Happy Friday!

I am so excited to be sharing with you this delicious buttered rosemary baked chicken drumstick recipe. I have to admit that I do not eat turkey for Thanksgiving. I do not like turkey and so I always opt for chicken or pernil(roated pork). I know Thanksgiving is all about the turkey, but I don’t look forward to the turkey. So chicken it is for me.

I do look forward for all of the other food though haha! Anyways I think this rosemary chicken is perfect for the holidays, whether you want to make it for Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years, I guarantee it will be a hit at the dinner table. I love how easy it is to make because you basically add all of the ingredients together, mix and place it in the oven. That easy!

Estoy muy emocionada de compartir con ustedes esta deliciosa receta de piernas de pollo al horno con mantequilla y hojas de romero. Tengo que admitir que yo no como pavo para el dia de Acción de Gracias. No me gusta el pavo y siempre opto por el pollo o pernil. Sé de Acción de Gracias es todo sobre el pavo pero no me interesa. Así que el pollo  es para mi. 

Me encanta probar todos los otros alimentos! De todas formas creo que este pollo con romero es perfecto para las fiestas, si desea hacerlo en Acción de Gracias, Navidad o Año Nuevo, le garantizo que será un exito en la mesa. Me encanta lo fácil que es hacer porque básicamente agregar todos los ingredientes, mezclar y colocar en el horno. ¡Así de fácil!

I think butter makes any food taste that much delicious, and adding rosemary to these drumsticks is like the icing on a cake. Know what I mean? Your house will be smelling like rosemary and believe me it smells good. My kids loved this recipe and so did my hubby, so if it’s kids approved you know it taste good, I’m just saying. 

So if you are like me and do not like Turkey then I suggest you make these buttered rosemary baked chicken drumsticks because they are the bomb.dot. com. My family usually makes turkey, chicken and pernil for the holidays so it’s perfect to recreate this dish.

Creo que la mantequilla hace que cualquier comida sepa mucho mas deliciosa, y la adición de hojas de romero para estas piernas de pollo es como la guinda(suspiro) de un pastel. ¿Sabe lo que quiero decir? Su casa estara oliendo como romero y créanme que huele bien. A mis hijos les encantó esta receta y también a mi marido, así que si es aprobado por los niños sabes que el sabor es bueno, sólo estoy diciendo.

Así que si eres como yo y no te gusta comer pavo entonces te sugiero que hagas estas piernas de pollo al horno con mantequilla y hojas de romero porque estan bomba. Mi familia por lo general hace  pavo, pollo y pernil para las las fiestas así que es perfecto para recrear este plato.

delicious and tender buttered rosemary baked chicken drumstick / deliciosa piernas de pollo con mantequilla y hojas de romero

Ingredients
  • 8 pieces of chicken drumsticks/ 8 piezas de pierna de pollo
  • 4 rosemary "branches" just take off the rosemary leaves / 4 ramos de hojas de romero, quitele las hojitas
  • 2 tablespoon of poultry seasoning / 2 cucharada de sozon de pollo
  • 4 tablespoons of butter / 4 cucharadas de mantequilla
  • 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard / 1 cucharada de mostaza amarilla
  • 2 tablespoon of worcestershire / 2 cucharadas de salsa inglesa
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar / 1 cucharada de azucar moreno
Instructions
  1. Place all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well. / en un plato Hondo mezcle todo los ingredients bien.
  2. In a baking pan add the drumsticks and bake for about 1 hr to 1 hr and 15minutes / en un sarten de hornear, ponga las piernas de pollo y cocine por 1 hr y 15 min.
  3. Add ½ cup of water while it's cooking in the oven so it won't burn or dry up. / agregue media taza de agua para que el pollo no se queme o se seque.
