Happy Friday!
The weekend is literally here, do you have any plans? I am planning to go to church tomorrow with my three kids and my sister. I hope my kids can behave like “normal” human beings and I can enjoy a well needed day with God.
I want to share with you these 3 easy and delicious back to school snacks. They are all so simple to make and your kids will love it! You can make all three snacks the day before if your kids take snacks to school. Also, these are great for after school pick me up snacks, you know what I mean? with peaches and cream haha! Just kidding(yes I’m weird).
I love to give my kids mid-day snacks, so I can cook and not worry about them dying of hunger, so whether your kids go to school or not, these 3 snacks are great for them to eat and easy for you to make.
3 easy and delicious back to school snacks:
1- Ham, potato cheese and salty crackers: You can use your favorite crackers for this and if you can’t find potato cheese then simply use sharp cheddar cheese. Cut the potato cheese into small cubes and roll up the ham and cut it into pieces. This snack is so good, it reminds me of my childhood because I would always make this. This snack is perfect for school because you can store it in the refrigerator and it wont go bad. Also the saltiness of the crackers  and the creaminess of the cheese is a perfect little combination. The ham just tops it off really, and you can eat it like a cracker sandwich!
2- Fruit salad: This fruit salad is the bomb dot com! I wanted to add a special touch to the regular fruit salad that we always have. So I added granola and whip cream, I suggest you let the whip cream “melt” a little so the granola can absorb some of the whip cream and then just eat it all up with the fruits, so so good! I loved this delicious fruit salad, better yet my kids loved it too! ( you can tell I ate as much as my kids did haha!) I used strawberries, blackberries, banana, red seedless grapes for my fruits.
3– Slice of bread with Nutella and banana slices: Okay, so this one is my favorite! Who doesn’t love Nutella? exactly, everyone does! So for this snack I just grabbed a whole wheat slice of bread and spread some Nutella on it and cut some banana slices on top. Easy-peasy and the best part is that it’s healthy and delicious. My daughter loved this one too, I had to make her two more that same day. Now she even asked me to make it for her everyday, so I did not complain because I can make myself a slice too 🙂Â
I really hope you can give these 3 easy and delicious back-to-school snacks a try and let me know in the comments below, what are your favorite snack to make for your kids?
Have a great day and I will see you next time.

¡Feliz viernes!
Those 3 snacks really hit all the bases based on what you’re craving…salty, savory, sweet, refreshing, or indulgent haha. I’m really a sucker for a big bowl of fruit salad. I should really make one ahead of time. Great ideas!

I’ve never heard of potato cheese! It’s hard to beat cheese and meat and crackers at snack time. And my kids love Nutella and banana toast (my daughter calls it ‘Mutella’). My mom always had fruit salad in the fridge when I was growing up. So convenient to snack healthy that way!

Haha! Love how your daughter calls Nutella and banana toast “mutella”. Potato cheese is so delicious and it melts perfectly if you want to make grilled cheese sandwiches, you can find it in the dairy and cheese section of the supermarket. I think fruit salads are just the best, easy and convenient.
Thank you Kelly!
Wow that sounds so delicious!
You are so welcome Mary! I love fruits too, so refreshing and delicious 🙂
Thanks Lauren! Yeah, you can definitely make fruit salads ahead of time and save you some time, specially if you work!
