To be happy is something I think that we all strive to be. It’s sometimes hard to be happy when situations happen that we are not in control of. Sometimes is hard to be happy when as moms we tend to be annoyed or bothered at our kids when they do not behave or they are simply just being all around cranky.
I know, it has happened to me and it still happens. I love when I feel happy because honestly, I can get more things done around the house. I feel better about myself, believe or not. Somehow being happy makes me feel like my life is great, that I have everything even though probably I may not have everything that I want, you know what I mean?
Also being happy can make us more tolerant of our kids, somehow we have more patience and we can put up with more before screaming or putting them in time-out. For you to be happy does not only consist of getting a promotion at your job(if you work), you do not need to be rich, you do not need to have perfect kids (never happening) or  have a big house. You can be happy with the little things in life.
Look around you, there is a lot to be happy about!
Here are my 5 simple ways to be happy right now, apply it and be happy.
1- Say one thing you are grateful for – Whether you are grateful for a new job, you are pregnant, for your hubby or even for your kids. Say it and you will feel and be happy!
2- Listen to your favorite song– Go ahead and get on YouTube and listen to your favorite song. Make sure is upbeat ofcourse, and you will automatically have a smile on your face. Heck! You will even burst out a dance or too, if you have kids, well dance the day away.
3- Write down your future plans–Â Do you want to go on vacation? buy a house? Well write them down and also write down what you are going to do to accomplish those plans. I always get excited and happy just thinking about my future goals, which include buying a house.
4- Go outside– Take a walk and breathe in the fresh air. Enjoy the weather with your family and take a walk, you will be happy that you did.
5- Spend more time with your family and friends– What makes me happy the most is when I am spending time with my family and close friends. I am always happy when I am with my sisters because we just laugh all of the time. It is great! I also love friends that motivate me and cheer me up when I am down. Even if you do not hang out with them physically, just give your family or friends a call. Happiness is just a call away.
