that hotel kinda life

Happy Sunday to you!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far, as for me, I think I am going to my parents house with my kiddos. They live just a couple of blocks away from where I live and my hubby is working. So that’s the plan for now.

I also wanted to share with you my recent hotel stay with my hubby and kids.  You can read that hotel life part 1 here. It was another present from my hubby since he knows how much I love to stay in hotels and not to mention our kids. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, at an upstate Marriott hotel. It was fun and relaxing for the most part and I love that my kids had a blast.

We got to the hotel on Monday afternoon and immediately decided to check out the pool. I wanted to go inside the pool but I had my hair blow dried because of my birthday and I was not about to mess it up. It cost me money, you know what I’m saying?

Anyways I managed to get my feet wet because my twins wanted to get inside the pool, and ofcourse I felt bad so I let them have fun too, not just their older sister. Overall it was a great start to the mini-vacation.

We ended up ordering from the hotel’s room service because by the time that we all got back from the pool it was too late to go out or to order food. I really do not recommend getting room service, it is so freaking expensive ( this is my cheap side coming out), nonetheless the food was really good haha!

So on Tuesday we woke up a little late and headed out for  lunch, we went to a nearby diner where the food was delicious and the servers were great. except for the waitress that was serving us, she looked annoyed that we had kids. oh well 😉

After lunch we went to a nearby CVS pharmacy and we bought a few snacks to take back to our hotel room. I took the twins a bath and attempted for them to take their naps. Total FAIL! well at first anyways, my hubby and my 6-year old daughter left the room and went to the pool. I slept my baby boy first and then was trying to sleep his twin sister, when my baby boy woke up again, for no reason. Then I slept my baby girl, and grabbed my son again but he refused to sleep, At this time I was crying because I was tired and seriously needed them to take a nap.

I went to the bathroom, breathed in and out and gave my baby boy some more milk and thankfully he fell back to sleep. It was their nap time anyways so I don’t know why it took them so long to sleep. Well while they were sleeping I finished editing a video for my Spanish YouTube channel and finished writing my blog post on 10 things to do before giving birth.

Dinner time came and we went to a Hibachi restaurant where the chef cooks the food right infront of you. It was amazing and I loved every second of it, so entertaining. Not to mention the food was delicious and flavorful. My kids and hubby also loved the restaurant. It was a fun family night out.

So Wednesday came and it was time for us to check out of the hotel and say hello to our home. After we checked out of the hotel we went to eat breakfast at IHOP and like always the food was great. We also made a stop at Walmart and then drove about an hour back home.
