So this happened, Stress Free Mommies got nominated for a Liebster award! I am so happy and excited to be nominated for this award, and all thanks to my fellow mommy blogger Jezelle from The little tourist. I have heard about the Liebster award before and have read about other bloggers receiving it. I never thought my blog was going to get a nomination, even though I have always hoped for one, haha!
As I was going through my email and reading blogs that I subscribed to, I saw the little tourist post on receiving a Liebster award, so I continued reading her post and when I saw my blog’s name being nominated, I was so happy and I couldn’t believe it! haha! So thank you so much Jezelle, I appreciate it!

1. What is the best vacation your family ever took?
We went to the Dominican Republic and had the best time in a resort.
2. Share an important lesson you’ve learned as a blogger.
I have learned that consistency and passion will take you places. If you do not have passion for what you are doing, then you will simply give up, if there is no passion, there is no consistency.
3. How do you balance blogging and family life?
It’s really hard! I sometimes can’t follow a blogging schedule but I try my best to post more than twice a week. I usually blog after my kids are sleeping, that’s how I am balancing blogging and family life as of now.

5. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging because I thought it was a fun way to share pictures and stories about my family. After my twins were born I quit my job and so being at home was sometimes boring and I wanted to do something that would make me happy and feel like I am not only taking care of my kids. You know?
6. Where do you hope to see your blog in the next 3 – 5 years?
I hope my blog can reach more people and that my blog becomes a resource for moms to get helpful tips about motherhood, beauty and fashion, and ofcourse recipes that are easy and delicious.
7. What’s your favorite food?
My favorite food is pizza, even though rice and beans are also at the top of my list!
8. What’s your all time favorite childhood movie?
I love “A Christmas story”, my sisters and I are obsessed!
9. How does your family benefit from your blog?
My blog it’s like a journal, I post some of the things that we do as a family and then we look back at it and remember how much fun we had. Financially, I am beginning to make money from it, so hopefully in the future it can help my family financially 🙂
10. Share a funny story about yourself. 
When I was pregnant with my first child, I started having contractions and woke up my hubby. He told me to time my contractions and so I did, and realized I was having contractions every 5 minutes or less. So I immediately knew I was going to give birth that day, so I told my hubby to wake up and change. I then proceded to the kitchen, grabbed a bowl of cereal with milk and sat down to eat it! while having contractions! My hubby asked ” what are you doing” and I simply replied ” I know that in the hospital they are not going to let me eat until I give birth, and I am starving, so I am eating”. Then ofcourse I “pooped” while pushing my baby out, struggles of pregnancy.

Estoy muy feliz y emocionada de ser nominada para este premio, y todo gracias a mi compañera, otra mamá bloggera Jezelle de The little tourist. 1. ¿Cuál es la mejor vacaciones que su familia tuvo?
Fuimos a la República Dominicana y tuvimos el mejor tiempo .
2. Comparte una lección importante que has aprendido como blogger.
He aprendido que la consistencia y la passion te llevará lugares. Si usted no tiene pasión por lo que está haciendo, entonces simplemente se dará por vencido, si no hay pasión, no hay consistencia.
3. ¿Cómo equilibrar el blogs y la vida familiar?
¡Es muy difícil! A veces no puedo seguir un horariode blogear pero doy lo mejor de mí para publicar más de dos veces a la semana. Yo suelo blogear después de que mis hijos están durmiendo, así es como estoy equilibrando el blog y la vida familiar a partir de ahora.

5. ¿Por qué empezó el blog?
Yo empecé a bloguear porque pensé que era una manera divertida de compartir fotos e historias sobre mi familia. Después que nacieron mis mellizos renuncié a mi trabajo y estar en casa a veces era aburrido y quería hacer algo que me haría feliz y sntia que no sólo estaba cuidando de mis hijos. ¿Sabes?
6. ¿ Dónde usted espera ver tu blog en los próximos 3 – 5 años?
Espero que mi blog pueda llegar a más gente y que mi blog se convierte en un recurso para las mamás para obtener consejos útiles acerca de la maternidad, la belleza y la moda, y por supuesto las recetas que son fáciles y deliciosos.
7. ¿Cuál es tu comida favorita?
Mi comida favorita es la pizza, a pesar de que el arroz y los frijoles también estan en la parte superior de mi lista!
8. ¿Cuál es tu película de todos los tiempos favorito de la infancia?
Me encanta “Un cuento de Navidad”, mis hermanas y yo estamos obsesionadas!
9. ¿Cómo su familia beneficiarse de tu blog?
Mi Blog es como un diario, puedo enviar algunas de las cosas que hacemos en familia y luego miramos hacia atrás en ella y recordar lo divertido que era. Financieramente, estoy empezando a hacer dinero con él, así que espero que en el futuro se pueda ayudar a mi familia económicamente 🙂
10. Compartir una historia divertida sobre ti. 🙂
Cuando estaba embarazada de mi primer hija, empecé a tener contracciones y desperté a mi marido. Me dijo en cuente mis contracciones y así lo hice, y me di cuenta que estaba teniendo contracciones cada 5 minutos o menos. Así que de inmediato supe que iba a dar a luz ese día, así que le dije a mi marido que despertar y se cambiara. Entonces procedi a la cocina, agarró un plato de cereal con leche y me senté a comer! mientras que tenia contracciones! Mi marido preguntó “¿qué estás haciendo” y yo simplemente respondió “Yo sé que en el hospital no me van a dejar comeré hasta que dé a luz, y me muero de hambre, así que me estoy comiendo”. Entonces por supuesto que me hice “caca” mientras empujaba a mi bebé, luchas de embarazo.
