Happy Wednesday!
Being a mother of three has been a blessing to me, I love having my kids play with each other, laugh, and just being best friends. Even though it’s great most of the time, sometimes is not. Sometimes all I hear is screams, crying, I have to breakup fights between them, I have to raise my voice and it’s not fun. But who said motherhood was going to be easy?
You know what I do sometimes? I go straight to the kitchen and grab a snack, but not just any snack, I grab a snack that I know can release me of the stress and make me feel happy even if it’s just for a few minutes. I love to eat, no surprise here, so I love eating a quick pick me up snack that I can indulge in and feel great tackling motherhood at it’s best. I love the new OREO thins! Have you seen them or tried them already? Well if not, you have too, there are thinner and crispier OREO treat that gives you a new OREO experience. Oh and so delicious. So perfect for a not so perfect mommy day.
I went to my local CVS to shop around with my kids like I always do. Let’s not forget that my twins want to grab everything at the store, so my shopping trips are pretty quick and straight to the point. When I saw the new OREO thins I was so excited that CVS had them, that I just had to buy it, for me it’s like an “adult” version of their regular Oreo’s haha! you know what I mean? I quickly grabbed two of the three flavors you can choose from. I bought the original and the mint flavored one because it’s holiday season and mint screams holiday to me. They also have the golden flavor one. Heck you can buy all three because they are so addicting. You can easily find them at any CVS pharmacy store nationwide and it is easily located in the cookie isle.

Ser madre de tres hijos ha sido una bendición para mí, me encanta tener mis hijos que juegan entre sí, riendose, y ser mejores amigos. Aunque es una gran mayoría de las veces, a veces no lo es. A veces todo lo que escucho es gritos, llantos, tengo queseparar peleas entre ellos, tengo que levantar la voz y no es divertido. Pero, ¿quién dijo que la maternidad iba a ser fácil?
¿Sabes lo que hago a veces? Voy directo a la cocina y como un aperitivo, pero no cualquier aperitivo, agarro un bocadillo que conozco me puede liberar el estrés y hacer que me sienta feliz, incluso si es sólo por unos minutos. Me encanta comer, no es nada extraño aquí, así que me encanta comer un rápido recogerme merienda que puedo disfrutar mientras batallo con la maternidad. Me encantan los nuevos OREO thins! ¿Los has visto o les intentado ya? Bueno, si no, usted tiene que probarlos, son más delgadas y crujiente delicia de OREO que le va dar una nueva experiencia. Ah, y tan delicioso. Tan perfecto para un día de mamá no tan perfecto.
Fui a mi farmacia de CVS local para dar una vuelta con mis hijos como siempre lo hago. No nos olvidemos de que mis mellizos quieren tomar todo en la tienda, así que mis viajes de compras son bastante rápido y directo al grano. Cuando vi los nuevo OREO thins estaba tan emocionada que CVS los tenían, que sólo tenía que comprar, para mí es como una versión “adulta” de su habitual Oreo jaja! ¿sabes a lo que me refiero? Rápidamente agarre dos de los tres sabores que usted puede elegir. Compré el original y de menta a uno porque es temporada de las fiestas y menta grita fiestas para mí. También tienen el sabor de vainilla. Carajo!, puedes comprar los tres porque son tan adictivo. Usted puede encontrar fácilmente en cualquier tienda de farmacia de CVS en todo el país y es fácilmente ubicado en la isla de galletas.
I love when my kids go to sleep earlier than usual because it means date night in with my hubby. We always stay up a little late just so we can enjoy each others company and I think that is so important in any relationship. Specially if you have kids because let’s face it kids rule our world, haha!
I decided to make a cute movie night basket with the basic essentials for a movie night in. My hubby and I love watching movies and T.V shows together, is our thing, so I immediately went to work creating this special basket that included our favorite things that makes us feel comfortable and ready to watch a movie. So let’s start with the essentials of a movie night in!
Me encanta cuando mis hijos van a dormir antes de lo habitual, ya que significa noche de cita con mi marido. Siempre nos quedamos un poco tarde, así que puedes disfrutar de la compañía del otro y creo que es tan importante en cualquier relación. Especialmente si tienes niños dejar porque realistas niños gobiernan nuestro mundo, jaja!
Me decidí a hacer una noche de cine cesta linda con los productos de primera necesidad para una noche de cine. Mi marido y me encanta ver películas y programas de televisión juntos, es lo nuestro, así que inmediatamente fui a trabajar la creación de esta canasta especial que incluía mis cosas favoritas eso me hace sentir cómodo y listo para ver una película. Así que vamos a empezar con los elementos esenciales de una noche de cine en!
So here I have:
- The new OREO thins, because I can use any excuse to enjoy this crispy and delicious treat in one sitting and do not have my hubby asking me if I am going to eat it all. Well, I will but since it’s movie night who cares right? Also, I find that OREO thins are the perfect satisfying snack for adults who love crispier cookie texture in a thinner OREO cookie. Since it is thinner it feels lighter and there for I feel like it’s okay to eat it all, don’t you do that sometimes?
- Blanket- I love getting cozy while watching movies with my hubby and a blanket is perfect for that.
- Pop Corn– I don’t think I have to give a reason for this do I? Self explanatory 🙂
- Ice coffee– I am sorry but ice coffee is my life, yes even at night when the kids are sleeping. I am the type of person that can drink caffeine and still can go to sleep just fine.
- Movie of your choice– I love watching the classics, so Lion King it was! It just reminds me of my childhood and I love that movie, well me and my hubby both love the movie.
