Welcome back to Inspirational Sundays #3. How is your weekend going so far?
I hope you didn’t miss my Inspirational Sundays #1 and #2, because I want you to get inspired all day, err day, haha!
Don’t you have those days when you feel like everything is not going your way? When you try to do something and it completely goes wrong or did not go the way you wanted it to. How about when you feel like you are having the worst mommy day ever? I have been there and it’s not funny or fun.
I have those days when I just wish I can have a whole day myself without my kids because they just simply drive me to the edge sometimes and my stress level rises like no tomorrow. Sometimes, I feel like I am not cut out to be a mom, even though I have three kids, this feeling is sometimes there.
Sometimes I am excited about cooking a new recipe and then having it taste bad because I thought the ingredients I put together were a good combination. I know at times we may not be having a good day. You know what? Not everyday is going to be good. Not everyday we are going to wake up with a smile on our face when our kids wakes us up from our deep sleep. Not everyday is going to be a good day.
Not everyday you are going to be happy with your hubby, not everyday your kids will listen to you and not test your ability as a mom. Not everyday you will be focused and complete your daily task that you set up for yourself. Sometimes plans do not fall into place, sometimes your plans are not going to happen and sometimes life gets in the way.
Not everyday is going to be good, but there’s something good in everyday. Just think about it, even if you think you are not having a good day, I know that you most likely smiled that day. You spoke to someone that made you laugh, made you forget about your not so good day. There is so many good things that happen every day, that we do not see it or we choose to only focus on the negative side of it.
Even when my kids drive me to the edge, I love when I see them smile, play and learn new things together. When they tell me ” I love you mommy” even after I finished screaming at them. Little things like this, makes you believe that there is good in everyday. Even though things may not seem like it’s going your way, just keep your head up high, think positive and don’t let one negative aspect in your life take control of your life.
There is always good in everyday, think about your family, your kids, your career, your health, your studies, are you happy? do you feel blessed? Think positive and be positive. If you are not having a good day today, know that it will not last forever. Sometimes we focus so much on the little things and not on the big picture and that is getting through the day with the people you love.
Remember that everyday may not be good, but there’s good in everyday.
Have a beautiful inspired Sunday.
