Hope you had a great weekend and as for me, guess what I did on Saturday? I went to the Dollar Tree store (everything they sell is only $1) with my two sisters and did some major damage with only $20! Say whaaaat!!?? Yup, I’m so excited and happy to share with you these three Easter gift baskets that I did for my kiddos. I know they are going to be thrilled and you know what? I’m thrilled myself that I didn’t see my money going down the drain.

Easter is such a fun holiday and I love egg hunting, well I love watching my kids run around and having fun searching for the hidden eggs. It just brings back beautiful childhood memories for me. Also, this year I wanted to make my own Easter gift baskets because I wanted to do a little DIY and prove to myself that I can me crafty..haha! (I’m not at all). Besides that, the gift baskets at the stores are expensive, I’m talking about $20 or more for just one basket, like no thank you.

So for the  past few years, I did not buy or make my kids their own fun Easter baskets, but it all changed today, well it all changed when I saw the Dollar tree marvelous Easter selections and all for just one lovely dollar. Frugality to the max and I am not mad about that. So today I will be showing you how you can make your own Easter gift basket for just $20 or less really, depending on how many kids you have. All three baskets you see right here, cost me only $20, yes, for all three!

Espero que hayas tenido un gran fin de semana y en cuanto a mí, sabes lo que hice el Sábado? Fui a la tienda Dollar Tree (dodnde todo lo que vende es $1 solamente) y hize un poco de daño importante con sólo $20! Decir queee !! ?? Sí, estoy muy emocionada y feliz de compartir con ustedes estas tres canasta de regalo de Pascua que hice para mis niños. Sé que ellos van a estar encantados y sabes qué? Yo mismo estoy encantada de que yo no vi mi dinero hiendose por el desagüe.

las Pascuas es una fiesta muy divertida y me encanta el juego de busqueda del huevo, así Me encanta ver a mis hijos correr y divertirse en busca de los huevos escondidos. Sólo trae recuerdos de la infancia hermosas para mí. Además, este año quería hacer mis propias canastas de regalo de Pascua porque quería hacer un poco de DIY y demostrarme que puedo ser crafty..haha! (No soy en absoluto). Además de eso, las cestas de regalo en las tiendas son caras, yo estoy hablando de $20 o más por sólo una canasta, y yo estoy como no, gracias.

Así que durante los últimos años, no compraba ni hacia mis propias canasta de Pascua, pero todo ha cambiado hoy en día, así que todo cambió cuando vi toda las selecciones maravillosas de Pascuas y todo por sólo un precioso dólar . La frugalidad al máximo y no estoy molesta por eso. Así que hoy voy a estar mostrando cómo puedes hacer su propia canasta de regalo de Pascua por sólo $20 o menos verdad, dependiendo del número de hijos que tengas. Las tres canastas que se ven aquí, me costó sólo $20, sí, por los tres!

For my baby boy’s basket, I bought him toy cars, bubbles (shaped like a carrot), Play-Doh, Curious George coloring book, a book about rescue cars (his obsessed with cars), chocolate candy and animal crackers. How cute is his soccer ball basket? I just added some “Easter grass” on the bottom of the basket and then added all the goodies on top. I think he is going to love it!

Para la canasta de mi hijo, yo lo compré juguetes de carros, burbujas (con forma de zanahoria), Play-Doh, curious George libro de colorear, un libro sobre los coches de rescate (esta obsesionados con los coches), dulces de chocolate y galletas de animales. Qué lindo es su canasta de balón de fútbol? Acabo de añadir un poco de “hierba de Pascua” en la parte inferior de la cesta y luego agregue todos los objetos valiosos en la parte superior. Creo que le va a encantar!

Now for my girl’s baskets, it is super girly and fun! I bought them coloring books, for my oldest I bought her a mathematics book so she can practice her math but still have fun looking at all the Disney princesses. I also bought my oldest daughter a jump rope because she loves jumping, bought both of them bubbles, Play-Doh, animal crackers, chocolates, cute ponies with their own comb and cheerleading pom poms. How fun! My oldest daughter’s basket is the blue one and my youngest daughter’s basket is the pink one.

Ahora para las canastas de mi niñas, que es super femenino y divertido! Les compré libros para colorear, para mi hija mayor le compré un libro de matemáticas para que pueda practicar su matemáticas, pero todavía divertirse mirando todas las princesas de Disney. También cle ompré a mi hija mayor una cuerda para saltar porque le encanta saltar, le compré a las dos burbujas, Play-Doh, galletas de animales, chocolates, caballitos lindos con su propio peine y porristas pompones. ¡Que divertido! la canasta de mi hija mayor es el azul y la canasta de mi hija menor es el rosado.

Note: Some of the goodies that I bought came in packages of two or more, for example the animal crackers and Play-Doh. Also I only bought one set of pom poms and divided it, one for each of my daughter’s.
