I do know for a fact that my body was telling me that I was expecting a baby even before I knew I was actually pregnant.

1.Period like cramps
With my fist pregnancy, I was experiencing period like cramps. I thought for sure my period was coming any day and so I waited and waited. Then after a few days without having my period, I felt like something was not right. The first red flag for me was that I rarely get cramps and If I do my period for sure comes within 24 hours of the cramping. So just keep this in mind if you are trying for a baby and happen to experience period like cramps but with no period in sight. Many women have told me that they also experienced this prior to taking a pregnancy test.
2.Food aversions
A very common early pregnancy sign that you can experience throughout your pregnancy. I happened to experience this before even knowing that I was expecting. All of a sudden, I didn’t want to eat food that I would normally eat if I wasn’t pregnant. So mama, if you find yourself not wanting to eat, smell or be in the same room as your once favorite food, then you might be pregnant.

3.Change in sense of smell
I noticed a change to how I reacted to certain smells pretty early on with both of my pregnancies. Also, my tolerance of certain smells was not even low it was straight up zero. I simply couldn’t stand certain smells, specially of things that I loved. The smell of hot coffee would not sit well on my stomach, I love coffee, so you know something was up. Pizza was another food I couldn’t smell and that was insane to me since I’m a pizza lover for life. If you happen to experience a change of smell and tolerance, then I have good news mama. You certainly might be pregnant!

4.Hunger
Another way to know if you are pregnant is an increased feeling of being hungry. Hungry if you are pregnant means “give me food right now, this second or I will die” sort of ordeal. If you experience hunger out of the blue, you might be pregnant. If you just finished enjoying a quick snack and all of a sudden 30 minutes later you are so hungry you feel like you haven’t eaten anything the whole day. Guess what!? You definitely might be pregnant!

5.Tiredness/fatigue
Another early pregnancy sign is if all of a sudden you are feeling tired and all you want to do is sleep. Your body will go through a lot of changes in order to accommodate another human inside of you. You will feel tired and drained. It happens, but don’t worry once you are well into your second trimester this feeling will most likely disappear. You might even feel shortage of breath when walking, so keep that in mind. Feeling tired and exhausted without doing anything to cause it, is a common pregnancy symptom.
6.Missed Period
Did you really think I was going to leave this one out? This is the most obvious sign if you are trying for a baby to look out for. A missed period can mean a lot of things, like irregular cycles, stress can make you miss your period or even if you are on a new birth control method. A missed period for the most part is a sign of pregnancy if you are actively trying and are not using any birth control to prevent it. So, if you missed your period, jump, scream and cry because you just might be pregnant!
There you go mamas, I hope you found these 6 early pregnancy signs fun and helpful. You know, because we can’t wait to take a test and therefor we want to know sooner than later.
