I made this delicious and super easy creamed corn casserole for Thanksgiving and let me tell you that it was a hit with my family. It was the first time that I ever made this dish and it came out great! I was so excited. My oldest daughter helped me make it while my twins were napping, which was great because we had so much fun together. My daughter was pretending to be a chef and I just went a long with it 🙂

This delicious creamed corn casserole was such a hit that I decided to make it again so I can record it and upload it to my YouTube channels. Once I was done, my kids and I headed to my parents house like we always do every Saturday and I gave them some to try. My sisters, parents, grandmother and aunt were all there and they wouldn’t stop telling me how good it was. Now my mom wants me to make it for our Christmas Eve annual party and you know what? I’m happy to make it because it’s super easy and I know I won’t spend much time in the kitchen.

Hice este delicioso y super fácil cazuela de maíz con crema para el Día de Acción de Gracias y déjame decirte que fue un éxito con mi familia. Fue entonces la primera vez que he haga este plato y salió genial! Estaba tan emocionada. Mi hija mayor me ayudó a hacerlo  mientras que mis mellizos estaban tomando su siesta que era genial porque nos lo pasamos muy divertido. Mi hija estaba fingiendo ser un chef y yo le segui el juego 🙂

Esta deliciosa cazuela de maíz con crema fue un éxito tal que decidí volver a hacerlo para poder grabarlo y subirlo a mis canales de YouTube. Una vez que terminé, nos dirigimos a casa de mis padres como lo hacemos todos los Sábados y les di algunos para probar. Mis hermanas, padres, abuela y tía estaban allí y no dejaro

n de decirme lo bueno que era. Ahora, mi mamá quiere que lo haga para nuestra fiesta anual de Nochebuena y ¿sabes qué? Estoy feliz de hacerlo porque es super fácil y sé que no voy a pasar mucho tiempo en la cocina.

Easy creamed corn casserole

I love that this casserole has bacon bits on top because it adds crunch to the dish and who doesn’t love bacon, right? I also, added vegetable cream cheese for extra flavor and it came out super tasty! The corn flour binds everything together and the mozzarella cheese kicks it up a notch. I need cheese in my life! I simply seasoned this creamed corn casserole with salt, pepper and paprika powder. It tasted amazing and I have a feeling I will be making this often.

I really hope you can give this super easy creamed corn casserole a try and I hope you can enjoy it just as much as I did!

Me encanta que esta cazuela tiene trozos de tocino en la parte superior porque añade crujido al plato y a quien no le gusta el tocino, verded? También, añadi queso crema vegetal para sabor extra y salió súper delicioso! La harina de maíz  une todo y el queso mozzarella lo pone in toque necesario. ¡Necesito queso en mi vida! Simplemente sazoné esta cazuela de maíz con sal, pimienta y pimenton en polvo. Sabía increíble y tengo la sensación de que voy a hacer esto mas de la cuenta.

Realmente espero que puedas hacer esta cazuela de maíz crema super fácil  y espero que puedas disfrutar de ella tanto como yo!

Easy creamed corn cassserole

Easy, creamy and delicious creamed corn casserole
Ingredients
  • -2 cans of corn (15oz) drained / 2 latas de maiz tiernos (15oz) drenados
  • -2 tablesoons of vegetable cream cheese (you can use original cream cheese) / 2 cucharas de queso crema vegetal
  • – 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese / 2 cucharas de queso parmesano
  • – 1 tablespoon of butter / 1 cuchara de mantequilla
  • – 3 tablespoons of instant corn flour / 3 cucharas de harina de maiz
  • – salt and pepper to taste / sal y pimiento al gusto
  • – 4 cloves of garli / 4 dientes de ajo
  • – 2 tablespoons of avocado oil ( you can use any type of cooking oil) / 2 cucharas de aceite de aguacates (puedes usar cualquier tipo de aceite te tengas)
  • -1 cup of half and half ( or heavy cream) / 1 taza de crema pesada o half and half
  • – 1/2 tablespoon of paprika powder / 1/2 cuchara de pimento en polvo
  • – mozzarella cheese / queso mozzarella
  • – bacon bits / pedacitos de tocino
Instructions
  1. – In a food processor or blender, add 1 can of corn (drained) and 4 cloves of garlic. Blend until everything is well integrated./ en una licuadora o precesador de comida agregar 1 lata de maiz drenado con los ajo.
  2. – In a medium pan at the avocado oil and butter, at medium heat,mix well and then add the 1 cup of half and half and mix well. / en in sarten agregar el aceite, mantequilla y mezcle bien. Cocinar en fuego medio y despues agregar el half and half.
  3. – Now, add salt, pepper and paprika to taste. / ahora agregar la sal, pimiento y pimento al gusto y mezclar
  4. – Now lower heat to low and it’s time to add the vegetable cream cheese and mix well. Mix until the cream cheese melts into the sauce./ agregar el queso cream y mezclar bien hasta que el queso crema se derita en la salsa.
  5. – Then, add the corn that we blended up and the other can of corn, also add the3 tablespoons of corn flour and mix very well. / ahora, agregar el maiz que licuamos y el otro maiz de la lata, tambien agregar la harina de maiz y mezclar muy bien.
  6. – In a medium size casserole dish, spread butter all around it, that way the corn mixture doesn’t stick. And add our delicious corn mixture in it and top it off with mozzarella cheese. / en in sarten de hornear agregar ,mantequilla alreadedor para que la mezcla de maiz no se pegue. Agregar la mezcla de maiz y encima agregar queso mozarella.
  7. – cook in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees heat / cocinar en el horno por 30 minutos a 350 grados.
  8. – last top your creamed corn casserole with some bacon bits and enjoy! / por ultimo agregar pedacitos de tocino por encima de la caserola y disfrutar!
