Kid Approved Oatmeal With Fruits

kid approved oatmeal with fruits- This delicious and super easy to make oatmeal with fruits will become a family favorite. Sometimes oatmeal can be a bit boring to eat, specially for kids but by adding their favorite fruits in it, it transforms it! Try this kid approved oatmeal with fruits and guess what? My kids can't get enough of it!

When I was younger I wasn’t a big fan of oatmeal because I thought it didn’t taste good at all. When I was pregnant with my first born, I would force oatmeal down my throat because I knew it was healthy and good for me and my baby. Now, it’s a different story, I actually enjoy eating oatmeal and my kids do too!

I now add fresh fruits every time I make oatmeal and my kids eat it like they haven’t eaten the whole day and it feels good. I love when my kids actually eat their food, specially when it’s healthy and good for them. I have to say that they would eat the oatmeal by itself but they weren’t too thrilled with it, they ate it because they had to. Once I figured out what to do to make oatmeal “fun” to eat, I never looked back and my kids now get excited to eat oatmeal with their favorite fruits in it.

Oatmeal doesn’t have to be boring, just add a few more ingredients to it and that’s it! You don’t have to limit yourself by only adding fruits, you can add nuts, brown sugar and even honey. Go crazy and wild with it! haha!

Anyways, I really hope you and your kids can enjoy this super delicious and kid approved oatmeal with fruits. It’s healthy, easy and delicious, what more can you ask in a breakfast recipe?

Cuando era más joven no era una gran fan de la avena porque pensaba que no sabía bien en absoluto. Cuando estaba embarazada de mi primogénito, me obligaba a comer avena por la garganta porque sabía que era saludable y bueno para mí y mi bebé. Ahora, es una historia diferente, en realidad disfruto comer avena y mis hijos también!

Ahora agrego frutas frescas cada vez que hago avena y mis hijos lo comen como si no hubieran comido todo el día y se siente bien. Me encanta cuando mis hijos realmente comen su comida, especialmente cuando es sano y bueno para ellos. Tengo que decir que ellos comian la avena por sí mismo pero no estaban muy emocionados con eso, lo comian porque tenían que hacerlo. Una vez que me di cuenta de qué hacer para que la avena sea “divertido” para comer, nunca mire hacia atrás y mis hijos ahora se emocionan a comer su avena con sus frutas favoritas en ella.

La avena no tiene que ser aburrido, sólo tienes que añadir algunos ingredientes más y eso es todo! Usted no tiene que limitarse por solo agregar frutas, puedes agregar frutos secos, azúcar morena e incluso miel. ¡Vaya loca y salvaje con eso! ¡jaja!

De todos modos, realmente espero que usted y sus hijos pueden disfrutar de este super delicioso y aprobado por los niños avena con frutas. Es saludable, fácil y delicioso, ¿qué más se puede pedir de una receta de desayuno?

Kid Approved Oatmeal With Fruits
Recipe Type: oatmeal with fruits

delicious, easy and healthy kid approved oatmeal with fruits / delicioso, facil y saludable aprobado por los niños avena con frutas
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups of old fashioned oats / 1 taza y media de avena
  • 2 cups of water / 2 tazas de agua
  • a pinch of salt / una pizca de sal
  • 2 cups of regular milk ( or any type of milk you use) / 2 tazas de leche regular
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (or to taste) / 1 cuchara de azucar (o al gusto)
  • -bananas
  • -strawberries / fresas
  • *add any fruits that you’d like
Instructions
  1. In a medium sized pan add the water, oats and salt and bring to a boil ( about 4 minutes) / en unsarten agregue el agua, avena, y sal, dejelo hervir (unos 4 minutos)
  2. – Now add the milk and sugar, mix well and let it cook for about 7 minutes on medium low heat / ahora agregue la leche y azucar y cocine por 7 minutos a fuego medio bajo o hasta que la avena este suave
  3. – serve in a plate and add your favorite fruits! / sirva en in plato y agregua tus frutas favoritas!
