4 easy ways to induce labor naturally
 1.Walk
Walking is a great and effective way to induce labor. You walk everyday right? But just adding extra minutes to walk around your house helps bring pressure to your cervix from your baby’s head. This releases a hormone called oxytocin which triggers contractions!
Quick story:
When I was pregnant with my first born I actually induced my labor without wanting too. Maybe my daughter was going to be born before her due date but I know that walking as much as I did the day before going into labor, was a major factor. I had a training to do for my job and had to take two trains and walk a couple of blocks to get to my destination (Manhattan, NYC). I never walked so much in my life. I felt a lot of pressure and slightly pain in my pelvic. The next day I was having contractions every 5 minutes! Needless to say I gave birth that day 🙂
2.Ginger tea
Ginger tea is also another popular way to induce labor because it has properties in it that helps speed your labor. My mom and aunts also agreed as some have tried it and has worked for them. So it doesn’t hurt to give it a try right?
Quick note:
You must use fresh ginger, smash it and then boil it, you can add milk and sugar to taste. Also it is recommended to drink it a couple of times a day so it can fully work.

3.Sex
I’ve heard about sex inducing labor since I was pregnant with my first child. Having sex releases oxytocin which is a key hormone that triggers contractions and therefor induces labor. Also, semen contains prostaglandins which stimulates the cervix which can hopefully lead to contractions, via WebMD.
Quick note:
You do not want to try this if your water has broken.
4.Spicy food
Eating a lot of spicy also helps induce labor. The women of my family would always warn me not to eat spicy food unless I wanted my baby early. Of course I didn’t so I refrained myself from eating anything spicy throughout both of my pregnancies.
It is said that eating spicy food can cause your uterus to contract! This is a very popular myth and a lot of pregnant women swear by it.
