1.Rest as much as you can
This tip may sound very obvious and that’s because it is! But a very important obvious thing to do because your body will need all of the rest that it can get. Take naps if you can, go to sleep earlier than you usually do and even sit down to relax.
Quick tip:
Try sleeping with extra pillows under your head, this way you are sleeping a little elevated, making it easier for you to breathe!
2. Stay hydrated
Drink plenty of water and juice to help your pregnant body stay hydrated.
3. Chicken noodle soup
A warm bowl of chicken noodle soup does your soul and body good. Enjoy it with a lot of garlic, since garlic is a great natural source of antiviral, and antibacterial that are great in killing infections and viruses.

Taking a warm (not too hot) bath or shower will help you release stress and it will make you feel so much better. You will feel more energized and relaxed once you have taken a nice warm bath.
Quick tip:
Leave the hot water on for a few minutes, until it starts to steam. The steam from the warm water will help your congestion and it’s also very soothing.
5. Humidifier
Having a humidifier is great because it will help you sleep so much better at night and it also adds extra moisture to the air! Purchase a humidifier to help you with the cold and since you’re most likely going to use it again once your baby comes, it’s a win win situation!
Quick tip:
Please make sure to follow the instructions on how and when to clean your humidifier.
6. Vapor rub
I love using vapor rub when I’m sick and when my children are sick too. I feel that it really helps us breathe and feel so much better. When I was pregnant with my kids and had a cold, I rubbed vapor rub on my chest and on top of my nose. Using a vapor rub may relieve congestion, sore throat and cough.
