8 incredibly easy ways to have a clean house with a newborn
1.Have a cleaning buddy
In the first week or so, I give you permission to not do anything around the house, other than to take care of your newborn baby and yourself. So, if you have friends or family members come over, kindly ask them to help you clean your home.
Also, Your partner can definitely take part in this. Maybe wash the dirty dishes or do the laundry. It does not have to be a deep cleaning event here, just a surface clean will do for the first week or so.
2.Do not baby wear
The only time I used a baby sling carrier or baby wrap, was when I used to run errands outside of my home. Inside of the house though? I never used one. I just couldn’t do anything if I was carrying my baby all of the time. You’ll be more comfortable cleaning, you can get into the really hard spots in your house that needs some loving. Also, you can clean faster if you don’t baby wear inside the house, or at least while you’re cleaning 🙂

You can clean, cook and even take a shower. Take them with you wherever you go. It’s easier with a baby bouncer though because it’s smaller than a baby swing. But, I’m telling you, it’s amazing!
