1.Pregnancy body pillow
One of the best things to buy when you find out you’re pregnant is a pregnancy pillow. Or of course ask your partner to buy it for you 🙂 Even though at this very moment you’re not showing and you’re still feel comfortable sleeping. This body pillow is going to change your pregnant life! It’s literally one of the best gifts for a pregnant mom and you can use it all through your third trimester and beyond your postpartum stage.
I had one with each of my pregnancies and I loved it so so much. I’m a stomach sleeper, so for me it was hard to sleep any other way. This pregnancy body pillow helped me sleep more comfortable. This is definitely a first trimester must have!

2. Stretch mark lotions
Another great pregnancy product to start buying is stretch mark lotions. Not only it helps your belly feel and stay hydrated but it also help with the itchiness. I am guilty of trying different ones and I loved the Palmer’s cocoa butter formula and the Mederma stretch mark therapy.
Apply your favorite stretch mark lotion everyday through your entire pregnancy. All 9 months if you will. You can apply it once in the morning, after taking a bath and then before going to sleep. This of course helps prevent stretch mark in pregnancy and also helps to hydrate your growing belly.

3.Morning sickness remedies
Oh the horror of having morning sickness during your pregnancy. It’s not fun at all, trust me I’ve been there! So many hormonal changes are happening right now. That causes fatigue, food aversions and morning sickness, where you will experience nausea alone or vomiting. I know that knowing what helps sooth it in the beginning of your pregnancy helps a lot. I know a lot of pregnant women swear by these ginger candy, and I have also heard great things about these Preggie pop drops.
Documenting and writing down everything you go through during your pregnancy is something you’ll have and cherish forever. Having a pregnancy journal is a great way to keep busy, write your feelings and document every trimester! You can then of course share it with your little ones once they are older.
5.Maternity pants and leggings
You may get away with buying large or extra large shirts for your growing belly. But, getting away with wearing your pre-baby jeans? not so much. That’s why is important to start buying pregnancy pants or leggings. They are super comfortable and your belly will be comfortably snugged in it. With my twin pregnancy, I lived in leggings and I had no shame in it, ha!
You’re going to be obsessed with reading everything that has to do with being pregnant and your growing baby. So, why not stock up on these favorite pregnancy books! I have bought most that are on the list below and some I truly recommend because of their great reviews.
