The way my hubby and I picked out our childrens name was simple really. For our first born, we already had a name even before I got pregnant, ha! Her name is both my hubby’s name and my name together. Making it super unique. Her name is Jamely (Javier+Emely).
For our twins we went the name after family member route. Our sons name is my hubby’s and father in-law’s name (They have same name) and his middle name is my father’s name. His name is Javier Felix. For his twin sister, she has my name and my mothers name. Her name is Emma Rose. My full name is Ros Emely and my moms name is Rosa Emilia. How awesome right?

Tips on picking out the right baby name
- Make sure you and your spouse agree on the name
- Decide if you want the name to have a special meaning
- Do you want to name your kids after you or your spouse?
- Do you want to name your child after a family member?
- Decide if your baby is going to have a middle name or not
There are so many different factors that plays into giving your child the perfect name. It’s your choice and only you and your spouse have to agree on it and like it.
Avoid the baby name war with your spouse
Girl, baby naming can be stressful and I have heard that some couples take forever on deciding on a name. Some couples even argue over it. Ouch!
It’s reality though so I can definitely see how this can be an issue among couples. That’s why it’s so important to involve your spouse in the baby naming experience and give him a say in it.
You are both the parents of this beautiful child and you both need to make a decision together on your baby’s name.

How to choose the perfect baby girl name?
- Tune out other people’s opinion on a name for your baby girl. #sorrynotsorry
- Decide on a style (short and sweet or long and meaningful)
- Girly or unique?
- Does it sound good pairing it with your last name?
- Popular or rare names?
- Give yourself time and do not rush.
Let me share a story with you. When my extended family found out what my hubby and I were naming our first born, they went crazy. Crazy like they didn’t like the name, were giving me different kinds of opinions on it and did not leave me alone.
Until I told them, enough! and I told them that it’s my daughter and my choice. If they didn’t like the name, I told them to get pregnant and put the name they like to their baby. That’s it. #dropsthemic
