1.Feeling your baby kicks
There is no better feeling when you’re pregnant than to feel your baby or babies kicks. It’s amazing and you feel such a connection with your baby through it.
When your baby kicks it’s like he or she is saying “hi, I’m here just kicking around”. Also, feeling your baby kick is a sign that she or he is okay. Baby kicks are the best!

2.Sonogram appointments
I honestly miss going to my sonogram appointments when I was pregnant. Sonogram appointments for me, meant that I was going to see my little one, see my baby move and see how my baby was developing. It was my favorite part of my doctors’s appointment.
Sonogram appointments will be cherished in your heart forever. All of these memories of hearing and seeing your baby’s heartbeat for the first time, finding out the sex of your baby and seeing your baby kick or suck it’s thumb is just mesmerizing!

I believe every woman who is or has been pregnant will tell you that having no period for 9 months straight is glorious and deserves a celebration.

4.Maternity clothes
Maternity clothes are super comfortable to wear and stylish too. From leggings, maxi dresses, to jeans and cute t-shirts with quotes. I loved them all!
I loved the fact that I would get away with wearing leggings for 5 days straight without anyone looking at me like I’m weird. Now, I have to skip a day or two in order to wear them 🙂

5.All the special attention
Why does the special attention vanishes after you give birth? I simply don’t get it because it should be a continuous event. The special attention that you get when you’re pregnant is worth missing. You get to have the best seat on the public bus or train. You get to order your food first at a restaurant and even skip the line at the public bathroom.
Being pregnant definitely comes with it’s perks. People look at you with adoring eyes and wish you well throughout your pregnancy. It’s an awesome feeling!

6.Pregnancy cravings being satisfied
Cravings are a real thing and they must be satisfied when you’re pregnant. Even if it’s at 3am, I’m just saying. If you want a hamburger, you will get the hamburger. If you want ice cream with pickles, you shall get your ice cream with pickles no questions asked.
It’s a great perk to have while pregnant!
7.Feeling sexy and empowered
With both of my pregnancies, I felt the most beautiful, sexy and empowered woman. I was super confident in myself and I loved that feeling. Growing a baby inside of you, will make you feel that way.
Being pregnant, you don’t worry about how “fat” you look, or if people are going to judge you if you eat one more french fry or if you look weird wearing a maxi dress with sneakers. You just don’t care about those things when you’re pregnant, well at least I didn’t.
Growing and creating a new life, you are overwhelmed with positive vibes and all you care about is your unborn baby. You feel beautiful, you feel like you can accomplish anything and guess what? You can, you are beautiful and you are empowered by God’s grace.
8.The anticipation
You are anticipating the birth of your child through your entire 9 months of pregnancy. It’s exciting, nerve wrecking and it’s an unexplainable feeling. The feeling of knowing that you are going to give birth in 9 months to the little human you helped grow, it’s a wonderful surreal feeling.
