Body after giving birth. How you can feel attractive and happy with your body again. Postpartum body image. how body changes after birth. Postpartum tips for moms. Fourth trimester tips. New mom tips.

Boy, does your body change after giving birth. Doesn’t it make you feel like “damn, I don’t look or feel pretty anymore?”. It may be your hormones talking, after all you just gave birth. But, it is also a part of you that is gone. Your body before having a baby.

I felt like this myself after the birth of my first born. My body was full of stretch marks and I had a saggy stomach. I was just 21 years old. I mean what a change! But, I learned how to slowly love my body again and how to nourish it the way that it needed to be.

You see? Getting your body back as to what it was pre-baby, can happen to many moms. But it also doesn’t happen to many moms. So, learning how to manage feeling unattractive takes time and work. Just know that you will feel pretty again, you will lose the baby weight and you will love your body again.

stretch mark after birth, postpartum body tips.

1.Accept it

The first thing that helped me love my body after giving birth was to accept it. Either accept the fact that it will never be back to what it was. Or accept the fact that it will be back to what it was with time. Accept that it’s your body now and learn how to love it. Also, keep in mind that the way that it is, will not be forever. Your body now is just a special symbol of what your body did. It gave birth!

There are also programs out there that is catered to the postpartum body. Like the postpartum cure program, that’s going to help you heal quickly from birth, nourish your body and lose the weight! Find out more about it here!

2.Eat healthier

In order to start with your body loving journey. You must start with eating healthier and nourishing your body more. Eat more vegetables, fruits, food rich in iron, fiber, drink a lot of water and such. You cannot keep eating junk food and expect to feel and look good. Treat your body with love, respect and kindness.

3.Exercise

With eating healthier, you must exercise as well. Of course start exercising once your doctor gives you the green light to do so. Yes, you may feel lazy about it, fail a couple of times and feel like it’s a waste of time. But girl! trust me! It is totally worth it. I mean you are going to feel great the first day you exercise, so imagine the results after a couple of months. You are on your way to getting back your body after giving birth. You got this!

Can’t find time to exercise because you’re taking care of your baby or kids? I totally understand. Many times we spend time rocking our babies to sleep. In this guide, you are going to learn how to teach your baby to self soothe! That way you have more time to do other things! Check out the self soothe baby guide here!

4.Stretch mark lotion

The one thing that I wanted to do was reduce my stretch mark lines on my stomach. And yes you can use stretch mark lotion even after you give birth. It’s not just during your pregnancy. You are going to see that even though your stretch mark does not disappear, it will fade a little. Which is a self esteem boost. So lather on that stretch mark lotion or cream every morning and night.

here are a few of my favorites:

5.Read self love books

Reading self care or self love books can really help you. You are not alone in feeling sad about how your body looks like now. I mean, I’m sure it’s not terrible, but it’s not the same right? Check out a few of these self love books and start reading them. It can really make you change your mindset on how you look at yourself and learn to love even your flaws.

6.Accountability partner

If you really want to get back into shape, lose those last 20 pounds of baby weight, lose the saggy skin then you must commit. What a better way to commit than having an accountability partner. This can be your partner, your sister, a friend or a fitness trainer. Just have one because they are going to help you not give up and keep on going! Motivation is what you need and they are going to give it to you.

7.Be proud of progress

Every progress you make whether it’s mentally or physically, you must be proud of it. Your commitment and obstacles that you’ve overcome is a reason to celebrate. Every pound that you lose, vegetable that you eat instead of slice of pizza, even the 5 minute exercise you only had time to, because you know you have kids. It’s all a good thing. Enjoy the process and celebrate the progress.

Many moms lose themselves in the midst of motherhood and the chaos. So, everything pretty much is on standby when it comes to them. Read the ebook how not to lose yourself in motherhood, so you can thrive as a mother, find more time for yourself and become a happier mom! Buy your copy here and learn to love yourself again!

8.Love yourself

Love yourself mama, stretch marks and all. You are beautiful and you just brought life into this world. You have to love yourself, be happy with who you are now and know that it won’t be like this forever. It takes time to have your body back after baby, it takes time for your body to heal. With patience and love you’ll get there. You got this. Love your body after giving birth.

Your postpartum body is beautiful. Just think about what it did. The first things to do in order to feel good again is to start nourishing your body with good good. Exercising after doctor gives you the green light to do so and being surrounded by people that loves you.
