1.Have a planner and actually use it
Planners are a mom’s best friend. Seriously mama, it is going to help you be more organized and that’s what you need in life. Having a planner will help you not lose your shit every single day, because let’s face it. You might forget to do important things that day. Write everything in your planner. From super important things, to meal planning, to doctor’s appointments and more!

2. Have a designated area for your things
Oh man, this is crucial for your sanity. Do you always forget where you placed the car keys, house keys, anything? Do you have mom brain? Because I do! The struggle is real. So, having a place where you hang up your keys, or a drawer where you keep important documents or a place where your kids toys can be. It’s so important. No longer will you have days where your pulling your hair out trying to figure out where you misplaced things.

3. Practice selfcare
I know you might be like ” selfcare, when I’m busy, you lost your mind”. And, nope I promise I haven’t lost my mind yet. But, listen, how do you expect to get things done with a positive mindset if you’re not in a positive place. Practicing self care as a mom is very important. It helps with your mental and emotional health. Makes you feel good and you’re in a better mindset to handle your busy life.

4. You don’t always need to be busy
You don’t need to always have an endless to do list all of the time. It’s going to cause you stress and burnout. You can take a break and do nothing for one day. Always being busy does not make you a better mom. You have to learn to take a break, to not do anything and to just be mom. Be present with your children and value that time.

5. Practice gratitude
Always take some time either in the morning or before going to bed at night to practice gratitude. This will help you stay grounded and feel proud of yourself. Have a gratitude journal, or write it on your phone. List three things that you are grateful for each day. Yes! Even when you feel like shit, or bad mom or didn’t get anything done on your to do list. There is always something to be thankful for! You are a great mama.
