Practicing gratitude as a mom is so important and so powerful. Think about it, you are taking a pause out of your busy, chaotic and crazy day to say “I am grateful”. How freaking amazing is this? To say “hey! even though I am stressed, I am grateful for this” or “Even though my toddler threw a tantrum in public, I am grateful for this..”. Do you see how your attitude, mood and thoughts automatically shifts?
Mamamazing right? I know that it may be hard to even think about practicing gratitude when you’re unhappy, when your marriage is struggling, when your kids are constantly fighting and you feel like a bad mom and your life is not how you pictured it. I totally get it because I’ve been there too. Until I started to see the benefits of putting gratitude on the top of my to do list.
How can I be a grateful mother?
You are going to be mindblown of how simple this is. Are you ready? Just savor the moments in your life that you would normally brush off. Sit in the moment of when your kids are playing nicely, of when you’re happy to get 5 minutes alone, of when your family is eating together. The small everyday things that MATTERS!

5 simple ways busy moms can practice gratitude
1.Keep a gratitude journal
The best way to start practicing gratitude as a busy mom is to keep a gratitude journal in sight. Have it next to your bed or in your office. It will be easier for you to grab it and write on it.
2.Make it a habit
Want to know how to stick to something? Be consistent with it and you will create a habit of doing it. When you incorporate gratitude as part of your day to day routine. It will come as second nature for you. Once you start practicing gratitude you will see and feel the benefits of it.

3.Make time for it
One to know something mama? if you want something you gotta make the TIME for it. Yes! Even if you’re too busy, too tired and simply can’t fit it into your time. Then, make the time to practice gratitude.It’s that simple, straightforward and to the point.

So instead of saying “I’m going to practice gratitude because i read about it” say this “I am going to practice more gratitude because I want to feel….”. It’s so much powerful when you put a reason behind why you are doing things.

5.Find and notice the good things
