3.Have a nighttime routine for yourself
One way to eliminate the tired and stressful mom routines is to have your own nighttime routine. Having an hour for yourself after your kids go to bed is going to help you feel so much better the next day. What can you do to prepare yourself to take on the next day with a happier more positive mindset? You can journal or write on your gratitude journal. You can take a long warm shower. Read your book cozied up in bed. Do something for you to help you set the tone for the next day.
The key to a calm routine at home is to let go of the things that are causing you stress. What are your stress triggers? What does a calm routine looks like for you?
When you’re trying to get everything done, you will get NOTHING done. It’s that simple mama.
So, each day assign a big chore to do. For example, Mondays are laundry days, Tuesday is bathroom cleaning days, Wednesdays are for sweeping and mopping the house ect.
Keep it simple and do not feel pressured to do everything in one day.
