
Let’s talk morning routines and not for your child. But, FOR YOURSELF! Creating the perfect mom morning routine is crucial, believe it or not. It sets the tone, mood and attitude for the rest of your day. I personally need to wake up before my kids do. Why? because if I wake up at the same time, I’m already feeling stressed with so much to do.
Knowing your stress triggers is a great way for you to find ways to eliminate them so that you feel BETTER and in control of your life. So, what did I start doing? I wake up at 5:30am and that is my selfcare time. I have an hour in half or so, just for me. So that I can drink my iced coffee in peace, pray and read my bible. Then I start to work. It’s glorious!
My mom client has also implemented waking up earlier than her family and she tells me it’s life changing. She’s more patient and calm as a mom. Win Win!

I tell you mama, it changed my life when I started to put my needs first. It made be a better MOM! You have to start thinking about your needs and showing yourself love. Without the mom guilt because you shouldn’t feel guilty about doing things that makes you happy and fulfilled!
Having a good mom morning routine for yourself can take sacrificing of sleep or other things. But it’s so worth it! You’re not stressing out first thing in the morning and you will be more organized throughout the day.
5 Simple steps in creating the perfect mom morning routine
1.Plan the time that you will wake up everyday
This is the first thing that you have to do and that is to set the time that you want to wake up. At first is going to be hard, you’re going to fail and that’s okay. You are creating a new habit which takes consistency and work. Just keep doing it everyday until you wake up at the time that you want. Then, do it enough that it will become a habit.

2.What is your goal during your alone time
Set your intentions for waking up earlier and creating this beautifully perfect mom morning routine. Think about the goal for waking up earlier and having a routine for yourself. Is it to have quiet time? to work on your side business? or to drink your hot coffee in peace? What are your intentions and goals?
3.What’s a ritual that you want to set for the mornings
I have a morning ritual that i always do that is part of my morning routine. That is to wake up get dressed, do my makeup and hair and then go to my office to pray, read the bible and then get to work. What ritual will you add to your mornings? is it journaling? Writing on your gratitude journal or listening to a good podcast?
4.Make it fun for you
Of course that you want to make it fun mama! That’s the point of setting and creating your own morning routine. So make it fun, what is something that you want to add to your routine that makes you excited every morning?

5.Be consistent
The key here is to be consistent with your routine as a mom. You have to understand that to create a new habit in your life you have to make a decision, you have to take action and you have to be consistent with it. It’s just like creating a sleeping habit for your baby, you can’t give up!
