5 things to do when you are struggling as a mom
1.Notice your triggers
Is important that as a mom we are aware of our triggers. Whether that is stress, mom guilt, burnout or anything that you are struggling with. Building self awareness is knowing why you are struggling with things, what are your actions and thoughts and how you can easily take action in changing them.
2.Change your mindset
Often times we are not aware that our mindset about our life, our children and our selves can really have an impact in the way that we manage stress, how we show up as a mom and how we handle the everyday struggles. Start noticing what you automatically start thinking about when you are dealing with your struggles as a mom. Is it more negative thoughts. than positive? Start committing yourself to believing more positive thoughts about yourself, your life and your family.
3.Journal
Journaling has completely changed my life. And I want you to also experience the positive effects of journaling. Writing down your thoughts and feelings on paper is powerful. You are able to0 notice negative patterns that you want to break, you are able to understand your feelings more and it feel so damn good to release it on paper! You learn so much about yourself and this will help you be your best self!

4.Practice self care
Self care gets overlooked a lot by moms, simply because we think we don’t have time for it. But in reality self care will help you stop struggling as a mom. You have to fill your cup up in order to fill family’s cup too,. You can’t run on empty fuel and expect to give your best self to your kids and spouse. It’s totally okay to take care of yourself, to do things that brings you joy and love and to set boundaries. You are worthy and deserving of it!
5.Choose gratitude and joy
How different will our lives be if we always choose joy and gratitude as center stage of our motherhood lives? It will be like night and day right? When you choose gratitude, you are focusing on the positives in your life, you are focusing on the good and therefor more positive things will happen to you. Choosing to feel joy is a decision that you make everyday and then a habit that you create. So you are the author of your life, you get to choose if you will keep struggling with the same things over and over again or you will find a solution!
