Easy broccoli with garlic side dish

Easy and delicious vegetarian side dish of broccoli with garlic
  • - 1 pound and a half of broccoli florets / 1 libra y media de floretes de broccoli
  • --salt and pepper to taste / sal y pimienta al gusto
  • - 20 to 30 cloves of garlic, finely chopped / 20 a 30 ajos bien cortadito
  • - 2 tablespoons of vegan or regular butter/ 2 cucharadas de mantequilla
  • - 2 tablespoons of avocado oil / 2 cucharadas de aceite de agucate
  1. rinse your broccoli with water and set aside. / lava su brocoli con agua y enjuagar y dejar al lado.
  2. In a medium to large pan, add the avocado oil and and butter. / en un sarten mediano agregar el aceite y mantequilla.
  3. Once butter has melted, add the garlic and saute for 2 minutes on medium heat. / ya cuando se derrita la mantequilla agregar el ajo. Cocinar por 2 minutos a fuego medio.
  4. Add the broccoli, mix well making sure it's covered with the butter and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. / agregar el broccoli, mezclar para incorporar el ajo con el broccoli. Sazonar con sal y pimienta al gusto.
  5. Let it cook for 20 minutes on medium heat, mix in between and you may add 2 tablespoons of water if it gets dry, so the broccoli can continue cooking. / dejar cocinar por 20 minutos a fuego medio. Agregar 2 cucharadas de agua si se esta secando para que el brocoli continue de cocinar.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
