Easy flavorful corn fritters

Delicious and flavorful appetizer of corn fritters

  • 2 cans sweet kettle corn drained
  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 garlic glove
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp white onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp red bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp orange bell pepper finely chopped
  • 3 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp black ground pepper
  • 1 whole eggs


  • In a blender add the garlic, eggs, all purpose flour, 1 can of corn (drained) and cilantro. Blend until smooth.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the blended mixture. Also, add the onions, bell peppers, salt and black pepper. Mix very well. Consistency should be thick.
  • In a pan, add avocado oil, enough to fry the fritters but not to deep fry them.
  • Add a tablespoon of the corn mixture at a time, I added 4 at a time.
  • Fry them for about 1 to 2 minutes on each side. Making sure they are golden brown before flipping to the other side.
  • Once cooked, place them on paper towel so it can absorb most of the oil.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
